3/4 cup | 120g / 4.2oz | Raisins |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Guava - quartered |
3 | Sugarcane - (3" to 4" ea) - each cut in strips | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Prunes |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Crabapples - peeled, cored |
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Diced (1") pineapple |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar |
4 | Mexican cinnamon - (2" long) | |
8 cups | 1896ml | Water |
Tequila - as needed |
In a large pot, place the fruit, sugar, cinnamon, and 8 cups of water. Bring to a boil and lower heat and simmer for 1 hour. Serve hot in a mug that has a shot of tequila in it.
This recipe yields 8 to 10 servings.
