Hot Punch - {Ponche}

Recipe Ingredients

2   Golden Delicious apples - peeled, cored,
  And cut in eights
3/4 cup 120g / 4.2ozRaisins
1 lb 454g / 16ozGuava - quartered
3   Sugarcane - (3" to 4" ea) - each cut in strips
1/2 cup 118mlPrunes
1/2 lb 227g / 8ozCrabapples - peeled, cored
2 cups 292g / 10ozDiced (1") pineapple
1 cup 198g / 7ozSugar
4   Mexican cinnamon - (2" long)
8 cups 1896mlWater
  Tequila - as needed

Recipe Instructions

In a large pot, place the fruit, sugar, cinnamon, and 8 cups of water. Bring to a boil and lower heat and simmer for 1 hour. Serve hot in a mug that has a shot of tequila in it.

This recipe yields 8 to 10 servings.
